In 2020, Monroe Gallery presented an exhibition of photographs documenting selected moments of Presidential campaigns past. Photography has been inseparable from the world of politics, where image is crucial. For most presidential candidates, controlling that image has become essential to their message. 

With the 2024 Presidential campaign entering the final stretch, we present an updated look at political campaigns throughout history.
